The feedingcenter in Corinto build last year with help from rotary clubs denton, dentosn south and metroport is giving the children after eating lunch lessons in how to brush your teeth. The toothbrushes come from the rotary denton south.
El comedor infantil en Corinto construido el año pasado con apoyo de clubes rotarios de denton, denton sur y metroport enseña despues del almuerzo a los niños como de limpiar los dientes. Los cepillos de dientes vienen de club rotario denton sur.

They also do have aids test for the sexual workers in Corinto and do give information about how to avoid this desease.

We got permision to build the library/ Obtenimos permiso de construir el centro de documentacion en salud

Yesterday the architect Nestor membreño and a engineer in electricity from the healthministry MINSA Managua did came to inspect the building place for the library, or medical documentation centre how minsa calls it. They gave some practical advise and now we have obtained the oficial permision. Monday morning 11 of april we will start to construct!

Yesterday we went out to start to buy all the buildingmaterials for the building of a new library for the yought in Corinto, to have cheap acces to internet and books for their study. The funds come from rotary clubs denton, denton sur and metroport.

The Rotary Clubs from Denton, Denton South and Metroport did do a Matching Grant togehter with our Rotary club Chinandega. We did receive from the Internacional rotary foundation money for buying school equipment, 12 computers, books,tables, chairs, schoolbords, etc for the new to build kindergarten in El Limonal, the primary school San Agustin in Chinandega and the new to build library in Corinto.

Los clubes rotarios de Denton, Denton Sur y Metroport han hecho un matching grant con nuestro club. Nosotros recibimos de la fundacion rotary internacional dinero para comprar equipamiento de escuelas, 12 computadoras, libros, mesas, sillas, pizarras, etc para el nuevo pre escolar El Limonal, la escuela primaria San Agustin en Chinandega y la nueva biblioteca en Corinto.

Valentine´s day was reason to cook for 350 children in El Limonal with money from rotary denton and metroport

We did cook today on valentin´s day for 350 children in the feedingcenter in the neigborhood El Limonal, Chinandega. The money came from rotary clubs from Texas, Denton, Denton south and Metroport.

Hoy en el dia de san valentin hemos cocinado para 350 niños en el comedor infantil del reparto el limonal, Chinandega. Los fondos vienen de los clubes rotarios de Texas, Denton, Denton Sur y Metroport.

The Rotary Club Chinandega did receive in 2010 funds from the Southport Rotary Club in North Carolina, United States to build 26 latrines for the people who live in the comunity of Chichigalpa, nearby Chinandega. Last we started to build and we hope to end the constructions within a month. The latrines will help to evoid contamination of the groundwater layer.


El Club Rotario de Chinandega recibi en el año 2010 fondos del Club Rotario Southport de Carolina del Norte en Los Estados Unidos para construir 26 letrinas para la gente de las comunidades de Chichigalpa.La semana pasada empezamos la construccion y esperamos de terminarlo dentro de un mes. Las letrinas van a apoyar en proteger el manto acuifero.

Today we did have a meeting with the local commitee of El Limonal where we are going to construct with the Rotary Clubs Denton and Metroport of Texas, USA a kindergarten. Also present in the meeting where the representatives of the education ministry, because they wanted to inspect the land where we are going to built.

In november last year we did get a new female member in our rotary club chinandega, doña Winnie. We are very glad to have this strenghtening of the club! Our district governor was the one who did welcome her as a new member.

This year starting in march the Rotary Club Chinandega, Nicaragua is going to build together with her sister Rotary Clubs Denton, Denton South and Metroport from Texas, USA a kindergarten and a Library in the neigborhood El Limonal in Chinandega and in Corinto.

Este año iniciando en el mes de marzo el club rotario de Chinandega, Nicaragua va a construir juntos con Los Clubes Roratios de Denton, Denton sur y Metroport de Texas, Estados Unidos un preescolar en el barrio El Limonal en Chinandega y un biblioteca en Corinto.

The Rotary Clubs of Denton, Denton South and Metroport are coming to Chinandega with arond 20 people to start the constructing works. They also did all the fundraising.

Los Clubes de Denton, Denton Sur y Metroport van a llegar a Chinandega con mas o menos 20 personas para iniciar el trabajo de construccion. Ellos tambien hicieron todo el trabajo de la recaudacion de fondos.
